Privacy Policy

VoidCentury.gg is operated by Gavin Fuentes, a sole proprietor based in Florida, United States ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use voidcentury.gg, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

The short version: we collect only what we need to run your account, ship your orders, and run tournaments. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't use analytics or tracking cookies.

What we collect

Account information

• Email sign-up: your email address, username, and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider. We never see them in plain text.
• Discord sign-in: your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and email address. With your permission, we also use Discord to add you to our Discord server.

Tournament information

• Your display name, in-game name, Discord username, and email address when you register or join a waitlist.
• Match results, standings, and lobby/room codes you submit during a tournament.
• Your display name, in-game name, Discord username, and results are shown publicly on tournament rosters, pairings, and standings. Your email address is never shown publicly.

Order information

• Your name, email address, shipping address, items purchased, and order totals.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never sent to or stored on our servers.

Technical information

• Our hosting provider automatically records basic request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
• Your browser stores a few items needed for the site to work, like your sign-in session. See our Cookie Policy.

Messages you send us

• If you email us or submit a privacy request, we keep that correspondence so we can respond.

How we use it

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To process, ship, and support your orders, including refunds.
• To run tournaments: registration, pairings, results, prizes, and match coordination.
• To send you transactional emails, such as order and tournament confirmations.
• To prevent fraud, cheating, and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations such as tax records.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or send you marketing emails.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only for that purpose:

• Supabase: database and account authentication.
• Stripe: payment processing and checkout.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Resend: sending transactional emails.
• Discord: sign-in, and adding you to our community server if you choose to join.
• Shipping carriers: your name and address, to deliver your order.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

How long we keep it

• Account data: until you delete your account or ask us to.
• Order records: up to 7 years, because tax and accounting law requires us to keep them.
• Tournament results: kept as part of event history. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your name in past results on request.
• Server logs: kept briefly by our hosting provider, then deleted automatically.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that's wrong;
• delete your account and personal information, except records we're legally required to keep.

Submit a request through our privacy request form or email voidcentury.gg@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Children

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or enter a tournament. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it. If you're under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before making a purchase.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption, rely on established providers for authentication and payments, and limit who can access personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. We'll notify affected users of a data breach as required by law.

International users

We're based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States and wherever our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll also post a notice on the site.
