Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Gavin Fuentes, a sole proprietor doing business as VoidCentury.gg ("we", "us"). They cover your use of voidcentury.gg, including our shop and online tournaments. By using the site, creating an account, placing an order, or entering a tournament, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or enter a tournament.
  • If you're under 18, you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who must make or approve any purchase and agrees to these terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • One account per person. Don't impersonate anyone or use offensive usernames.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
  • You can close your account at any time through our privacy request form.

3. Shop orders

  • Prices are shown in US dollars. We try to describe products and conditions accurately, but errors can happen. If a product is listed at the wrong price or is out of stock, we may cancel the order and fully refund you.
  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we ship the item.
  • Website orders ship within the United States only. Buyers outside the US can contact us to arrange a private sale, on terms we agree with you directly. Free standard shipping applies to US orders with a subtotal of $75 or more. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package.
  • International buyers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes charged by their country.
  • A 3% processing fee is added to every order at checkout to partially offset payment processing costs. This fee is applied to the subtotal after any discounts and is non-refundable in most cases; see our Refund Policy for details.
  • Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

4. Tournaments

  • Tournaments are skill-based competitions. Event-specific details such as format, schedule, prizes, and entry fee are posted on each tournament's page and are part of these terms.
  • Players must follow the event rules and any instructions from tournament organizers, who make final decisions on rulings, pairings, and results.
  • Some events require one player per match to stream gameplay in a designated Discord voice channel so organizers can observe.
  • Cheating, collusion, using multiple accounts, harassment, hate speech, or unsportsmanlike conduct can lead to disqualification, forfeiture of prizes and entry fees, and a ban from future events.
  • Prizes are awarded as described for each event, cannot be exchanged for cash unless stated, and may require you to confirm your identity or shipping details. You're responsible for any taxes on prizes you win.
  • We may change, reschedule, or cancel an event. If we cancel a paid event, entry fees are refunded as described in our Refund Policy.
  • Tournaments are void where prohibited by law.

5. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • try to hack, disrupt, overload, or scrape the site;
  • interfere with other players' matches or accounts;
  • post content that is abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or spam.

6. Intellectual property

The VoidCentury.gg name, logo, and site content belong to us. Trading card game names, card images, and related trademarks (including One Piece Card Game and Pokémon TCG) belong to their respective owners. VoidCentury.gg is an independent retailer and tournament organizer. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.

7. Third-party services

The site relies on services such as Stripe (payments), Discord (sign-in and community), and third-party game clients used to play matches. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

8. Disclaimers

The site and tournaments are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing here limits any warranty or right you have under law that cannot be waived.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to cover our losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Please contact us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly by email.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms. Changes won't apply to orders already placed or events already entered.
